Purpose and values of SOS Lyme Foundation
Vision
Dr. Ángel Bueno Gracia Foundation wants to contribute to a better society, with space for the quality of life and opportunities to develop Lyme disease, rare diseases, chronic diseases, and autoimmune.
Mission
Dr. Ángel Bueno Gracia Foundation is a non-profit institution that develops actions in investigation, assistance, and divulgation of Lyme disease to offer patients and their families an equal access position to medical resources.
Objectives
- The impulse and promotion of scientific investigation about Lyme, rare, chronic, and autoimmune diseases, and their treatment.
- The provision of services and assistance about these diseases to the sick and their families.
- The information diffusion and promotion in the Lyme disease field. Rare and chronic diseases.
- The diffusion and implementation of measures aimed at encouraging the prevention of this type involving the entire society.
- Cooperation through conventions or other ways of concentration with public or private organisms. Their objectives coincide with the ones of this Foundation and can alienate them in the same direction somehow.
- The setting-up of actions designated to the welfare improvement of persons sick with Lyme, rare, chronic, or autoimmune diseases, and the collective of people assisting them.
- The impulse of the legal support base and their families to improve the defense or their rights face to thirds.

Dr. Ángel Bueno Gracia Foundation is sustained by the following values:
- We are an independent Foundation formed by professionals of different fields with any political or institutional linkage.
- We comprehend compromise as: “the capacity that the human being has to take conscience about the importance of complying with the work development inside the stipulated time”. That's why, when we compromise, we put it to the maximum until the end of our established objective.
- As a non-profit institution, we consider it essential to make public our results annually. All physic and legal people that decide to collaborate with us know at every moment what projects saw the light thanks to their solidarity, exposing it with detail.
